The Shusha Declaration is a guarantee of peace and comprehensive development in the region. The "Shusha Declaration" signed between president of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Shusha, the cultural center of Azerbaijan, on June 15, 2021, is a perfect agreement that can determine the future development prospects of not only the Karabakh region or Azerbaijan-Turkey relations, but also the entire region. If we exclude the points of strengthening of military relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey mentioned in the declaration, the Republic of Armenia can also benefit from other points of the declaration, whether related to economic cooperation, political cooperation or the opening of transport corridors, and this can bring great benefits to them. In fact, the main reason for all the problems of today's Armenia is the negative relations created by its neighbors. This neighborly hostility and the resulting blockade have left Armenia out of most economic processes in the region, as well as causing the country to collapse economically and a large part of the population to leave their homes. In the modern scenario, Armenia is looking for allies or friends in the USA, France, Russia and a number of other countries, but historical experience shows that nations that cannot establish proper relations with their neighbors are doomed to fall behind in all parameters. Looking at history, it is possible to clearly see that Armenians are the cause of dangerous relations with their neighbors. The main problem of the Armenians is their territorial claims to all their neighbors, false sick mentality trying to prove that they are the oldest people in the world and a number of other personal ambitions. Throughout history, we Turks, whether Anatolian or Azerbaijani Turks, have never made any claims against Armenians and have always tried to show generosity and mercy to them. Unfortunately, we have seen hostility in return. Today, there is a chance not only for Azerbaijan, but also for the entire region to review relations, rebuild relations and take advantage of new perspectives. The historic Karabakh victory brought about by the unity of the people and the government in Azerbaijan will change the political and economic landscape of the entire region for the better. The opening of the transport corridors, especially the Zangezur corridor, will lead to the participation of all the countries of the region in the new landscape formed by Azerbaijan and Turkey. In particular, Armenia may benefit the most from this work. For Armenia, which has no direct access to Europe and is trying to connect with its closest ally, Russia, through Georgia, the opening of borders is a chance that could bring great profits. The difficult geographical conditions of the Georgian-Russian border and the not so good Armenia-Georgia, Georgia-Russia relations in many cases hinder the communication of Armenians with Russia. In fact, Armenia's defeat in this 44-day war can become their victory if they can approach the issue correctly. because with the current economic and political situation, Armenia may collapse economically and lose its existence. In a word, the salvation of Armenia lies in the normalization of relations with Turkey and Azerbaijan. It is more useful to build positive relations with neighbors than to look for peace in the peacekeeping forces of some country. Those famous peacemakers have been around the world for more than 300 years and they have not yet been seen to bring peace anywhere or ensure peace anywhere. The "Shusha Declaration" signed at the direct initiative of the leaders of Azerbaijan and Turkey will become a guarantor of peace not only between Armenia and Azerbaijan, but also in the entire region. Because we are representatives of a peaceful, friendly, compassionate and most importantly brave people. Being friends with us is beneficial for everyone.
